Mothcatcher recently relocated from Edinburgh to New Abbey, Dumfriesshire. The move represents an exciting time for the company, putting it on the doorstep of some of the greatest locations and natural resources that Scotland has to offer. Kerry Anne graduated with a BA (Hons) in Film & TV from Edinburgh College of Art in 2002. Following a string of nationally-broadcast music promos and short films, Kerry completed her Feature Film debut “The Dead Outside” in late 2008. With noted film critic Alan Jones proclaiming her a “rising star north of the border”, Kerry Anne’s creativity and imagination brings life to any project.
Kerry Anne is set to direct her second feature film in late 2009, the stylistic sci-fi film “Arthropoda” (working title).

Kris R. Bird
Producer, Cinematographer, Designer
Kris is a young veteran of the Visual Effects industry, having worked as a 3D & VFX Artist since the age of 16, including a stint in the US, and later as a senior VFX Artist on Grant Theft Auto 4 at the world-renowned Rockstar North studio. Kris’ career shift began when he founded Mothcatcher Productions with director Kerry Anne Mullaney in 2003. His 8 years of experience as a ‘technical artist’ made Kris a natural in an unusual combination of roles, and he became the company’s Producer & Cinematographer. Kris transitioned quickly from organising live-event shoots (The Children’s Orchestra of New York, folk band The Picts) to acting as Producer/ Cinematographer for a string of broadcast Music Videos for some major record labels (Warner, Empire, Korova). Kris now divides his time between Mothcatcher’s core business – producing broadcast quality video for clients in the corporate, music & public sectors – and co-managing the company’s film production slate. Mothcatcher’s first feature film, The Dead Outside enjoyed an award-winning international festival run, and is set for release in more than a dozen territories in late 2009/ early 2010.
